Ysso

Founded in 2019, YSSO is the London and Athens-based jewellery label from mother-and-daughter duo Alexia and Stalo Karides. Rooted in both design and heritage, the brand takes its name from a reimagining of the Greek word for gold—“chrysso”—chosen as a blank canvas to reflect the personal interpretations each piece invites.

With over 30 years of experience in jewellery making, archaeologist and art historian Stalo brings a deep understanding of form and history to the brand, while Alexia, a former corporate lawyer, leads the creative direction. Together, they co-design every piece in the collection, each one hand-carved and finished in a workshop just outside Athens.

Sculptural, asymmetrical and boldly expressive, YSSO’s jewellery celebrates individuality—contemporary in form yet timeless in spirit.
