Founded in Tokyo’s Harajuku district by Shinsuke Takizawa, Neighborhood was born in 1994 after Japan’s street culture saw an influx of western influences. Incorporating his hobby of riding and customizing motorbikes himself into his collections, the Japanese designer draws inspiration from Americana motorcycle culture and London’s punk scene with military influences.
