Matthew Harris, the Jamaican born designer behind Mateo initially created menswear pieces - his first collection in 2009 was inspired by a toolbox kit. Finding success with this line, the New York designer branched out into the realm of women’s jewellery in 2014 and now creates delicately beautiful pieces decorated with diamonds, pearls and sapphires. His concept for his women’s jewellery is based on modern art and in our edit, you’ll find aesthetically pleasing tennis bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings and earrings.
