Collection: Issey miyake women

In 1971, Issey Miyake founded his label based on the 'piece of cloth’ concept – a notion that design could break the boundaries of the East and West when worn on the body. This brand philosophy, recognised as the Japanese principle 'Ma' (間), was carried over in 2019 when Satoshi Kondo became Creative Director. Today, the label continues to weld traditional techniques with advanced technology, creating new fabrics (such as the signature plissé pleats) which lend joyful buoyancy to blouses, dresses and trousers.
